Thirst No 4 - His final book?

I read a rumour on another message board that Thirst No 4 is Christopher Pike's last book. No other releases are on the table, and supposedly he's written Sita's last tale as his final pre-retirement release.

I hope this isn't true :-(

Pike has many other books coming out after Thirst No. 4. Witch World is almost finished. Also He has stated publicly that there will a Thirst 5,6,7 and 8.

Where did you hear that there are going to be more Thirst books? Everything says that Thirst 4 is the conclusion to the series..

I pray that you are right!! Christopher Pike is my favorite!! I have an autographed book by him that I happened to find at a second hand store! I haven't even read the book yet because I don't want to ruin it. :)

I am unsure if there will be more books but I love sita's tale and hope it continues there are so many doors left open with her so many un answered questions. I will be disappointed if this is the end!!

 i just finished the 3 book to thirst and read the last pages to the fourth and the way it ends doesnt seem like its the conclusion. and yes his books are amazing i hope he continues with the series he could go alot further with it.

Honestly if you look at it there are now 8 books altogether. It would be amazing if there were 4 more books to come out i really hope so but i guess we will all have to wait and see ......

On his Facebook page Thursday he wrote that he was working on Book V.  Can't wait!

TBH, I started reading The Last Vampire books when they first came out in the early 90s. At this point, I'm just beyond thrilled that one of my most beloved characters didn't, in fact, fall into obscurity, and that he continued to write about her. I never thought that would happen. I waited almost 15 years for another book to be written. So I say, let's not be greedy. We should all be thankful for the fact that Sita's story continues to be told, even if the conclusion is now, or, heaven forbid, in another 15 years.

I just finished reading the fourth thirst and if it ends like that, then pike shouldn't be a writer. i have loved his books for years and to think that it could be the end of sita is ridiculous. if he doesn't write another, i am never going to read another book by him ever. the reason i say that is because he left so many unanswered questions and so help krishna (lol) if he ever writes something and then leaves us out to dry about the ending....well i don't know what id do.
